A small anecdote...
During the First World War a
German corporal got injured in Belgium.
His name: Adolf Hitler.
He was treated for his wounds
in the crypt of St.Nicolas' Church.
Thus, the town was spared in
the Second World War when Hitler was
Chancellor of the German Empire.
